Starting off with a local St. Paul artist I discovered at Art-A-Whirl a week or so ago. Her name is Olivia Grant and this piece was a beauty. I am very envious of whoever ended up taking it home! She did post on her Instagram that she will be making prints of it so stay tuned via her Instagram.

I have been trying to get my hands on a pair of the Repetto ballet flats on sale. There are so many at decent prices on Ssense right now but my size is always sold out! If you can get yourself a pair, I am jealous! I would wear these into the ground.

My favorite item I got from the Sephora sale is by far the Violette FR bisou balm in betise. It really helps to accentuate and define your lips shape, superb for smaller lips. The founder is French and that’s the perfect way to describe this product, it’s that just kissed, smudgy and undone look. This stuff plus the Fara Homidi lip liner in faun is *chefs kiss.* Here’s a little video of me applying it. I can’t get enough!! Also it smells superb.

I am really into Fruity Booty’s new drop. Sign me up for stripes, polka dots and brief swimsuit bottoms this Summer.
The polka dot tank as seen on Olive Cook!

Berlin based artist and hat designer, Maryam Keyhani’s home and studio.
“The artist and milliner Maryam Keyhani garners inspiration from an inner battle between the weight of reality and the haven of fantasy. Now based in Berlin, Keyhani grew up in Tehran and emigrated to Canada aged 13, where she went on to study painting and sculpture. A visual epithet of her escapist wonderland, Keyhani’s surrealist namesake label brings lightheartedness to a world tainted by turmoil via enormous, marshmallowy cloud hats, Napoleonic bicorn headbands and straw boaters with bouncy, tubular rims. Keyhani opened a shop for her handmade pieces in the German capital at the beginning of this year – the centrepiece of which is her own bed, her favourite workspace.” Another Magazine
I love her paintings as well!

I randomly stumble upon this photo of Paige Tapp via Beis and I love this color luggage. I am not one to buy nice luggage, I’ve used hand me downs from my parents but this is fun!! The flame color is sold out but I added it to my May wishlist to keep an eye on it. The travel tote is in stock and not bad around $100.

I’ve ordered a few things here and there but won’t report back until I get them but these Justine Clenquet earrings from the Ssense sale did come and I LOVE them. I’m not usually a sparkly gal but as I’ve said, I am very into the blue’s lately and I am picturing these earrings this Summer with my hair up and an all black outfit. WE’LL SEE. They’re on sale for $46! Speaking of blue’s have you SEEN this Dragon Diffusion bag color??

Dua Lipa is starting a podcast based off her book club. As saturated as the celebrity and brand book club market is, I am all for it. Anything to get people to read more! Also, Dua Lipa has had some excellent books for her book club and I am excited to hear her conversations with the authors! I love to listen to a podcast with the author after I finish a book so this is great.

More blues by artist Julianna Byrne. The one below is an original selling for 160 pounds on Partnership Editions (a great place to discover new artist).

I loved
most recent Substack on “underwear in culture, Jean Paul Sartre & embodied experience.” It was a great read and I loved the visuals.“I guess I saw something in myself in all these moments, whether it was the soft simplicity of Sofia Coppola’s opening shot of Lost in Translation or Kate Moss by Corinne Day for British Vogue 1993. I felt these images represented something about the essence of real femininity, of what it’s like to be a woman when we’re not performing. They captured something I wanted to capture in the brand world of Cou Cou and how I wanted the product to make us feel as women.”
Thanks for reading! x
