HAPPY TUESDAY FRIENDS! Hope you are easing into the week and well rested. Let’s begin:
1.YOUR PERFECT JEANS
I love jeans, I am a true jeans gal and I am always on the QUEST for the perfect jeans and I think I have cracked the code. Not only have I cracked the code but I also save a TON of money on jeans this way because jeans are expensive!!
EBAY. VINTAGE. LEVIS. THE 550’S.
OR THE 501'S. OR ORANGE TAG IF YOU ARE LUCKY.
Measure your favorite jeans, the waist and the length and type in “vintage levi’s 501 30x34 (your measurements) and I promise you will find your favorite jeans. Yes, you can’t try them on but if you know your measurement well, they will fit and the prices are great. My new favorite pair of jeans cost me $18.00.
Currently, I like a really long jean like the photos above. I am not a fan of skinny jeans so I look for a straight leg or a bit of a wide leg. I want it to hit my shoe and fall a bit, I also want them a bit oversized but a little more snug in the bum area. I am 5’9 so I always look for a 34 length if not longer and a 15 or 16 across the waist (usually listed as a 30 or 32 waist). Vintage levi’s run SMALL so you won’t be your usual size, they don’t have a lot of give either since they are 100% cotton but they are the comfiest jeans. Last pair I got smelt like cigarettes but nothing a good wash can’t get out! *Authenticity*

2.SLIPPER SHOES
We need slipper shoes, they are the take the trash out, let the dog out, run and get the mail shoes, but could they be more?? I think they can be. With the huge Ugg boots/clogs and Birkenstock’s come back, anything is possible in 2023!! I can’t bear to wear Ugg boots again but Birkenstocks have always been cool and timeless. Slipper shoes are different, they need to be weather proof, they need to slip on and they need to be quick. Like these below!
I have recently been eyeing these North Face mules because they look extremely warm and comfortable and I know I would probably wear them every day. They are a perfect slipper shoe.
I also saw these Teva’s and I feel like they would go the distance + more.
We also have these Subu’s that look amazingly cozy.
Annnnd these which I feel like would withstand a tornado, or letting your dog out in a downpour!! Either or.
The above are ideal for a winter/fall slipper shoe but for Summer my go to is a pair of Havaianas. They are easy and chic and cool and come in a lot of colors!
3.YOU COULD IMMORTALIZE YOUR DOGS TOOTH
I recently saw the jewelry designer Jess Hannah post the below and I really didn’t mind it. I think I liked it and I thought it was a sweet idea and less intense than a tattoo or a small tube of ashes around your neck (are we getting dark here). We are dog lovers here okay!! If you have a dog, you know, you may even make yourself cry just thinking of your dog being gone like I do (only sometimes) or cry because I love her so much. IT HURTS. Anyways, this necklace, it’s like a Mary Oliver poem but instead a $850 14k gold tooth with a story.
I am actually unsure how much this would cost but she specializes in fine jewelry and assuming this is real gold, it would probably be pricey but I do think it is a sweet idea and I am sure there are similar options out there like this!
4.SPEAKING OF JEWELRY, LET’S TALK ABOUT MISHO
I saw Suki Waterhouse wearing this brand, Misho, (have you been watching Daisy Jones and the Six??) and I thought they had some really cool pieces. I saw a few videos of them on and I think they look much better via video and in real life. Want to get my hands on a pair.
5.SOME RECENT SAVES + SCREENSHOTS
Let’s start with home things, I found this lamp via Pinterest and then sadly realized it was a rare mid century modern piece that goes for about $3k. The other photo is just what dreams are made of, can’t wait to have windows all over my kitchen.
Then we have some makeup finds, one is a fenty lip gloss dupe (found via Alina Timo), it’s the Maybelline lifter gloss in pearl and the second photo is the viral Urban Decay space cowboy eyeshadow (found via Juliana Shiel) that looks amazing. It’s super fine glitter so it gives a cool wet gloss look versus sparkle.
Next is this very unique wedding dress I discovered via Sofia de Moser Leitão, love something cool and different like this.
And lastly, we have scenes from fashion week via Kat Collins, I basically find inspo from all her posts- a very good sock and shoe moment. And this amazing purple sweater. A really good purple find I discovered via Becky Malinsky- a great newsletter!
