FIVE
This Alex Mill cashmere top in frost blue.
The Reformation x Camille Rowe collection is coming 10/23, mark your cals.
Discovered the brand Nomia recently and need all of their pants. Fun.
Also a cool Canadian brand, A Bronze Age, this dress with this cardigan.
Watched the Beckham documentary on Netflix and loved it. I’m also going to need Glenn Hoddle to immediately apologize!! Highly recommend, it also got me thinking of this feature by Ssense on the role of sports in the fashion industry.
“Sports have long tried to understand what a lucrative and culturally significant relationship with luxury fashion looks like. Ranging from athlete style in the vein of LeBron James’s now iconic Thom Browne short suits to big marketing pushes for high-end collaborations, like Paris Saint-Germain’s Dior partnership or a $2,800 football cut from Louis Vuitton leather, each attempt has provoked varying levels of attention. But rarely do these instances of cross-pollination linger longer than a few months, prompting the question of whether there’s an alternative route that leads to something more substantial: a genuine, deep-rooted relationship between luxury fashion and sport.”
“Amongst the rising tide of damning headlines about Manchester United, several stories in recent months illustrate football’s concerted effort to platform smaller independent designers and brands.”
“Back in April, 424’s Guillermo Andrade was named creative advisor for the MLS Cup, a role that put him in charge of League apparel and storytelling initiatives for the annual competition. Elsewhere, the United States women’s team, outfitted in Martine Rose’s pitch-perfect tailoring and bold Nike Shox mules, headlined an unprecedentedly popular Women’s World Cup. In South Africa, Thebe Magugu, winner of the 2019 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, signed on with the Orlando Pirates to design the team’s 2023/2024 kits and fan apparel. And in the Premier League, Crystal Palace became the first team in the league’s history to appoint a creative director. Fall/Winter 2023 will be Kenny Annan-Jonathan’s first collection, aiming to create “products that go beyond typical sports team merch and grow the team’s fan base.” This statement, taken from the designer’s interview with Business of Fashion, crystallizes the goal of each of these unions.” Ssense
Add Vintage Diesel ballet flats to your eBay or Poshmark search. Like so (via Paige Reifler):
Stumbled upon a very cool vintage shop called Casa Shop, very well curated and lots of gems. So much to pick from between jewelry, art and home items.

COS new arrivals! Like this very cool dark brown crossbody bag, this impeccable brown coat and this high shine green skirt. Also this leather jacket? Wow.
Love this purple COS bag from Depop, $104.
I dug through the best of COS and you can shop it here, so many good jackets and sweaters! SWEATA WETHA.
La Ligne very kindly and surreally sent me one of their 100% cashmere sweaters and I am blown away by the quality and the softness! Seriously have been wearing it every day. This is the one I have been loving but also love this one in peach. You can use code MOLLY25 for $25 off!
Mark your calendars, one of my favorite jewelry brands, Hernan Herdez, is having their once a year sale (30% off sitewide) from 10/19-10/21. I am specifically eyeing this earring.
Uniqlo X Clare Waight Keller - former creative director of Chloe and Givenchy, Clare Waight Keller, has created a line with Uniqlo that basically sold out instantly but they have a few goodies left like this jacket and half zip sweater. Read more here.
Speaking of Uniqlo, they have some gooooooods coming out. I love Uniqlo for great basics, some of my favorite pieces in my closet are by them. A few of these are from their “coming soon” section so sign up to get a back in stock notification.
These pants?? I will live in these. These 100% cotton cream colored pants also look perfect. I also love their heat tech products for staying warm in the winter.

Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for their Comptoir Des Cotonniers collection dropping 10/19 and their JW Anderson collection dropping on 11/2.
And their Uniqlo U drops, “Uniqlo U is a collection of “Future LifeWear Essentials.” The world-class designers and patternmakers in the Paris design team reimagine everyday clothing using innovative materials and new, contemporary silhouettes. Each season is designed with the highest precision and in pursuit of a simplified, modern wardrobe.”
Loved the styling of this Gigi Hadid X Ssense feature, lots of inspo here like this layering below. Excited to mess with the idea of a polo over a white tee. I have been wanting to try some pieces from her brand Guest in Residence, all items are 100% cashmere.
Rouje jeans. These jeans fit like the Khaite jeans, they are long and make your legs look lean and sky high. Found a size 27 on Poshmark for $165. I have tried this specific style on and it’s perfect.
Dissh sent me a few dresses to try and I love all of them. Picture below is the natural mini linen dress which I have been wearing non stop.
I also love this long linen dress in chocolate and this simple black dress that I have been wearing under sweaters as the weather gets colder.
I have this dress in the tank version but think the long sleeve would be a perfect Fall wedding guest outfit with some funky boots.
Skall Studios jackets make a tear come to my eye. How. is. every. single. one. perfect. BUT my literal dream jacket right now is the below which I assume is The Row:
Someone should buy these Studio Nicholson trousers for $150. That is a verrrrrry good price considering they usually go for $460 a pop.
This H&M mini wool skirt is very pleasant. So is this Mia Vesper skirt from The RealReal for $70 (size small).
Banana Republic has been coming through with some hard hitters like this sweater that I have been eyeing in both cream and grey.
Fun yellow Prada heels for $110 (size 7.5)!
Everyone raves about this Agent Nateur collagen powder so twist my arm, I guess I will try it!! Pearl powder is amazing, I use the Moon Juice one in my smoothies.
Someone told me this GlowGenie device is better than the NuFace and it’s only $65.
I just received this Ciele powder in the mail and I do not SAY THIS LIGHTLY. I have tried sooo many powders but I feel like they either take away too much glow or end up looking cakey and dried on the skin. This Ciele powder (with SPF) GENUINELY blurs your skin to perfection and keeps your makeup still looking dewy but not wet. It keeps selling out so I am so glad to have got my hands on one!!

If you have followed this newsletter for a while, you know I am a huge fan of everything Olio e Osso puts out. They just dropped their newest product, Salvezza Treatment Jelly, I have been using it for the past two weeks and I am obsessed. It has all my favorite ingredients like castor seed oil, squalane and coffee seed powder. It also smells like coffee and I immediately see a difference in plumpness and firmness when I use it. I use it all over my face on rougher days but usually focus it under my eyes. It’s wonderful.
I just finished the book Demon Copperhead and Barbara Kingsolver is from another dimension. Her writing?? The way she puts sentences together blew my mind. She did win the Pulitzer Prize so it makes sense but wow. What a dream to be able to write like that. This book is fiction but lightly based on the real life story of Charles Dickens.
A little snippet, “Charles Dickens wrote David Copperfield from his experience as a survivor of institutional poverty and its damages to children in his society. Those problems have yet to be solved in ours. Dickens is not a prerequisite for readers of this novel, but he provided its inspiration. In transposing a Victorian epic novel to the contemporary American South, Barbara Kingsolver enlists Dickens' anger and compassion, and above all, his faith in the transformative powers of a good story. Demon Copperhead speaks for a new generation of lost boys, and all those born into beautiful, cursed places they can't imagine leaving behind.”
AND if you want to read more on how pharmaceutical companies purposely targeted West Virginia and contributed to the death of generations of families and provided extremely misleading information in terms of addictiveness and low risk of abuse, you can here and here in our current news. In addition, these companies used aggressive marketing tactics to encourage healthcare providers to prescribe these drugs more liberally which is atrocious.
“The 2-week-old was among thousands of children separated from their parents and forced into state care by an opioid epidemic that fractured families in every corner of West Virginia, claiming 5,200 lives over two decades.”
Now I am reading I’m a Fan by Sheena Patel and I Love Dick by Chris Kraus.
Sorry to aggressively switch up topics around here but look at these boots! They are Vagabond and a pretty decent price at $270, the heel also looks very wearable.

Something I want to watch: Catching Fire: The Story of Anita Pallenberg (a woman so much more than a muse to the Rolling Stones).
Very excited for Priscilla directed by Sofia Coppola.
This is my current dream bag. I first saw it via Leandra Medine and have not stopped thinking about it.

Look how good it is!!
A few last things:
I just learned raw vanilla powder is a thing and you can create foam out of it for matcha/coffee?? And cardamon syrup! Inspo from Alivia, she has the cutest ideas like the below. The Fall menu!! Love love.
This Jelly Donut daily probiotic coconut yogurt. The ingredients are incredible.
Harvesting water lilies in Vietnam.
I will be making this recipe.
A perfect fall movie: You’ve Got Mail, yes you can rewatch it again. NYC in the Fall forever.
I’ve also been rewatching Wednesday to get in the Halloween mood.
Leaving you with three easy outfits to recreate:
The pieces in these three looks can easily be thrifted or pulled from your closet minus maybe the red vest which is from COS. I love pairing a baseball cap with a more tailored look to add a bit of surprise tomboy preppiness. Picked up this Nanushka brown corduroy hat recently and think it adds a cool touch to most outfits.
That was very long and unhinged, thanks for making it this far and as always, for reading. See you next time.
