1.GUEST FEATURE: RAVYANSHI
I had the pleasure of meeting with model, Ravyanshi, for a quick photo shoot at her hotel room in Los Angeles. She is just lovely and so very talented. She spends her time between New York and London and is originally from India. Take a look at our photo shoot below and some of her current favorites.
Who is your favorite artist right now? Or a piece of art that you have saved recently or been thinking about?
Ravyanshi: “I recently acquired a print from a yard sale in Wisconsin which I think is pretty cool.”
“Isn’t it? :P
Any kind of art is beautiful, I respect everybody’s brain children so no faves. “
Your top 3 favorite skincare products or beauty routine you swear by!! The secret to that amazing skin of yours and hair!
“Keeping it simple has worked best for me. (Serum + moisturizer + sunscreen) I started using that Moon Juice cosmic cream & plump jelly recently, think my skin is happy. & CeraVe’s 30 spf facial lotion.”
A cause or charity you care about.
“Someone I know supports a charity called Operation Smile - they work towards delivering free cleft surgery to people who need it the most. It’s life changing for the person in need and I think it’s really special to be able to give that to someone.”
A book you recommend to your friends.
“I love coffee table books that are mostly pictorial, my friend gifted me one called In India by Mitch Epstein, pretty cool. I love reading too but I don’t do it as much I’d like to, the last book that I read and liked was Hippie by Paulo Coelho.”
Favorite clothing brand or designer right now.
“I like to exist in comfort & color so I’d say the loungewear section of various brands ideally something that would be like a union of COS x Farm Rio lol".”
A huge thank you to Ravyanshi for taking the time to shoot with me and send me a little peak into her brain and her favorite things. Go check out her beautiful work.
2.MUDD PEARL
Mudd Pearl does some really cool things with pearls. I love how unique their designs are and the use of pearl combined with crosses.
“Founded in February of 2021 by Yasmin Moon & Mary Anderson, Mudd Pearl has already developed a growing cult following. The idea around the brand started with appreciating the healing mechanics of an oyster. "The way a pearl is created is similar to the human condition of alleviation. The oyster creates a smooth coating around a small trauma in order to co-exist with it and each method of protection is so individualized it could never be exact. Holding a pearl is like holding a physical manifestation of one's own resilience." Every Mudd Pearl is handmade through a delicate process of stringing individual pearls--while curating the brands signature aesthetic of organic symmetry. each piece can act as grounding totems, works of art, or both. Please note: like you and I, no two Mudd Pearl creation is exactly the same. Each piece is handmade in its own fragility, handle with care.”
See some of my favorite pieces below!

3.What Are We Wearing to Restaurants Now, Paris?
I loved this article I read recently by Lindsey Tramuta in Eater. I love this idea in general. If you are a people watcher (also please read this delightful New York Times article on people watching) or if part of your restaurant/sitting at the bar ritual is to take a peek at all of the outfits in motion, you make like this too.
“Welcome to Best Dressed, an Eater series where restaurant diners show and tell what they’re wearing out to eat, from the small details to the splashy pieces — and how they approached getting dressed for each spot’s specific scene. After two years of inside time, how do we dress to go out these days?”
For some reason Fall and the beginning of the holiday season makes this all the more special. The taking off of the coats for the costume reveal. The coats themselves. The candle lighting. The cold cheeks and the snow falling outside(!!)
4.LEOROSA
I have been keeping my eye on Leorosa for some time now. They are like the Italian J.Crew but cooler.
5.THE PRIEST WE ALL LOVE
If you don’t know what I am referring to, I need you to go watch Fleabag. It is rare a show is perfect, but this show is. If you are a fan of the show, pleaaaaaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee go watch Andrew Scott’s (who plays the priest) interview for Vanity Fair.
I am on my way to go to rewatch Fleabag now. He is utterly charming, witty and very very talented. No surprise he is an Irishman!!
Thank you very much for coming by. Thoughts are welcome!
