Pasta Grannies. GOOD ETSY FINDS AMEN. Colorful recipes!! LONG skirts. Australian beauty brand, FLUFF (the branding)! + A POEM
FIVE
Hello and happy Wednesday. How’s everyone doing? Feeling? Watching? Seeing? Dreaming? Wanting? Needing? Eyeing? I want to know! Here is what I have had my eye on lately:
1.PASTA GRANNIES X ZARA HOME
“Nonna chic” has taken over the internet, specifically interior design. As Vogue UK puts it, “whether it be a handpainted bowl from Puglia, a needlepoint tablecloth from Veneto, coffee cups from Sicily, or a pasta cutter from Umbria, items that have traditionally been associated with the home of the Italian matriarch are finding fresh cachet with the style set.”
This is my favorite thing on the internet/Instagram right now. PASTA GRANNIES is an amazing Instagram account that features Italian grannies hand making pasta. If you know me you know I LOOOOVE pasta. I actually ate it so much that I became Celiacs so that’s ME. They also have a cookbook and are now doing a collaboration with Zara Home that is so darling. Take a look at a few of my favorites images and items from the collection below:
So many items have sold out from the collection including many of my favorite bowls but the little plate is so sweet!
Also make sure to watch the videos here, here and here- my favorite. They also have an amazing Spotify playlist to go with it.
2.GOOD ETSY FINDS
I have been browssssssing on Etsy and saving some goodies that I think someone should add to their cart.
Let’s start with these vintage Izabel Lam earrings from the 1970’s- so cool. A statement earring!!
Next up these sweetie salt + pepper shakers made out of seashells and Mother of Pearl.
Trying to force myself not to buy the salad servers. The little blue glass bowl, a good pop of color. AND the candle holders- I am very into silver right now and always.
Keeping with the silver trend, these vintage sterling silver dome teardrop earrings, only $54!
A vintage Italian soap/ashtray dish!
And lastly, some fun glasses, a cool vase and some ceramic sculptures.
There is also this cool vintage Tiffany & Co bean necklace that I have been eyeing!
3.LONG SKIRTS
Long skirts!!!! Very into right now. They are easy, they come in lots of colors and shapes and textures and elevate your look AND look amazing with boots, sandals, sneakers etc etc. I love an oversized tee and a long skirt. Let’s get some ideas:
Round up of a few of my favorites I have spotted recently like this Zara denim skirt, it looks stretchy and flattering:
Loved the below jean and linen skirts from Zara as well:
Or you can be wild and free and try the pareo pants:
More inspo!!
Also very into these:
There are a lot of affordable unique options on Depop as well:
4.COLORFUL RECIPES
I've talked about Flamingo Estate on here before but I love everything they do and I recently discovered their recipe page and every single one looks amazing. These colors specifically caught my eye:
Also this candle was lit at a restaurant I was at and I took a photo of it because it smelt so incredible and it’s now on my wanted list.
5.FLUFF
I discovered Fluff via Instagram because I was very intrigued and impressed by their packaging. They are an Australian based makeup brand and their next drop is coming up in April.
“In terms of our makeup range, our promise was never to create a foundation product. We don’t think that’s necessary. We want our products to not cover your face, but highlight your natural differences from the next person. We are extending our shade range of bronzing powder and lip oils based on consumer feedback, and we have been working on a brow pomade, cream blushes and SPF moisturizer. They are meant to fit in with your routine and for the customer to get ready in minutes.”
Follow me on Pinterest for more finds.
That is all for now! Some favorite follows: Madison Brill (otherwise known as ilovecraiglist) she posts Craigslist gems, Are.na (just good), Gabriel for Sach (I love everything) and Suki Waterhouse because have you been watching Daisy Jones & The Six like I asked last time ?! Rumored to based slightly on Fleetwood Mac. She is my girl crush.
I leave you with a Mary Oliver poem:
“I Asked Percy How I Should Live My Life” by Mary Oliver
Love, love, love, says Percy.
And hurry as fast as you can
along the shining beach, or the rubble, or the dust.
Then, go to sleep.
Give up your body heat, your beating heart.
Then, trust.
Lots of good stuff Moll. I may take the the plunge on that Zara denim skirt and especially love those pasta grannies!! And Mary O. ✨❤️✨
