PICKELBALL, the best sweater you will ever wear and will never need to buy another sweater again, a COS scrunchie for $7, Good wine + Good skincare + nostalgia from a 1970's sleepaway camp
FIVE
Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and tried something new and exciting!! I recently tried Pickelball and it was ACTUALLY WOW sooooo much fun!! I get the hype now. It’s a mix between tennis and ping pong but it’s not super challenging so everyone can give it a go and still have a good time. I highly recommend you try it this Summer!
Look at how cute these Pickelball paddles are!!
This set from Free People is also adorbs. Makes a great gift!- I actually gifted a set to my Dad for Father’s Day- he was THRILLED lol (this is slight sarcasm).
Moda Operandi also hopped on the Pickelball train and sells this very chic Pickelball paddle by Recess.
Recess has a bunch of cute ones.
Here is a great article by Vanity Fair, “How Pickleball Won Over Everyone From Leonardo DiCaprio to Your Grandparents.”
You can also find many affordable Pickelball options on Amazon or at Target and you can also rent them at your local Pickelball court.
But what will you wear for your first Pickelball game?!
I personally loooooove Beyond Yoga, I think they are the most comfortable and softest options in terms of athleisure wear. I’m very into these flared leggings- I think flared in general is much more flattering. Alo Yoga has a good flarred legging as well.
I also love this pink skirt set. It’s all so soft!!
I also have this exercise dress in black from Outdoor Voices and it’s great for errands/outdoor activities etc.
Here are some more options from Ssense:

AND Shopbop:

This leads me to my next topic: THE most perfect sweaters I have yet to own. They are the James Street Co sweaters, the one below is the Peruvian sloane vee in kelly green. They were so kind to send me a few sweaters to try and I haven’t even had the chance to wear the other two because I have been living in the first box I opened!!
I am a sweater girl through and through, give me and oversized sweater and a pair of jeans or shorts or skirt or swimsuit or dress and I am feeling GOOD. I am wearing a size XL as I like my sweaters very oversized.
Here’s the thing about these sweaters, THEY ARE NOT ITCHY. They are 100% cotton and ethically made in Peru. This brand is the real deal, they make all their knits in small, sustainably minded batches and they are beautiful. I also have the Blake Pullover in butter and the cotton sloane v-neck in cream. They fit and slouch perfectly!!
Also a niche side note, they do not attract dog hair!! I have a dog and some sweaters are just an absolute no near my dog because they seem to attract every last hair in my house, but these do not! I really can wear these and pick up my dog and the material does not pull every last hair from her fur- dog owners know the pain. I can’t recommend these more, these are classic pieces you will have forever.
and lastly shown here with this yellow scrunchie I got from COS that is on sale for $7.
Anyways, some other things on mind:
Tried this wine a few weekends ago and it was one of the best wines I have ever had (tastes like peaches and apples and pears), SCREENSHOT and go find at your local liquor store:
Also in my cart is this Frasier Sterling necklace as spotted on Adenorah (creative director of Musier Paris).
I am loving the fit of Realisation Par’s tee’s- I found a few on Depop + Poshmark here + here + here.
These three products from Zara:

The reviews on this U Beauty eye cream are crazy. I MUST TRY.
Nikki DeRoest posted these men’s Levi’s and I am adding straight to cart.
Isla De Gar bags. They are so good!!
If you live near a COS, go shop the sale! It is soo good right now. They have a few items online but the in store sale is much better. New arrivals from COS that caught my eye:
A perfect leather crossbody bag.
AND this basic tank. Basically the entire website.
This Susamusa top for the Summer is perfection. I want it in every color!
Go Nanas fudge brownie banana bread + Cocojune yogurt.
This jewelry organizer changed my life.
Allies of Skin skincare specifically the sleeping facial + the pigmentation corrector night serum- OMG, I am going to talk more about this but has transformed my skin and the GLOW. They also gave me a code for 20% off! The code is MOLLY
PLUS the Shiseido sunscreen 50 spf (Japanese or Australian sunscreen always)!
Three last things:
This Vanity Fair article on Rupert Murdoch’s Succession drama- Succession is rumored to be based off of the Murdoch family and really, it is not far off. AT ALL. Like Murdoch ending his marriage via text or pitting his kids against each other and being engaged to someone who thinks Tucker Carlson is a messenger from God. LOL a good read.
What sleepaway camp was like in the 1970’s via photographer Andy Sweet. The camp was called Camp Mountain Lake in North Carolina (via The New Yorker). These photos gave me such a sense of nostalgia, tinged with some sadness as I reflect upon a generation that was able to be genuinely present in the moment, free from iPhones and today’s technology.
“There was something about it that felt to me, as a foreigner, quintessentially American, not only in its mimicking of Native language and rituals—the canoes, the bonfires, the pointedly tribal names—but in its rejection of the familial and its striving toward a frontier-like, parentless communal wilderness. I’m sure it embarrassed me to think this out loud at the time, but I also sensed, even before puberty had hit me, that there was something sexy about camp. Some of my favorite young-adult novels (Judy Blume’s “Forever . . .,” Paula Danziger’s “There’s a Bat in Bunk Five”) were at least partly set within its seethingly hormonal arena. Encountering these and other representations of camp life on the cusp of my own teen years was terrifying and enthralling in equal measure.”- The New Yorker
Also, if you were a fan of Daisy Jones & the Six, here is a playlist on Spotify curated by Suki Waterhouse- “Songs that grace Suki Waterhouse's headphones whilst strolling NYC thinking about love. Welcome to mixtape, a curator's playground.” Some great tunes on here.
I am currently reading Cleopatra and Frankenstein. Very into it so far. Has anyone else read it? What is everyone reading??
This incredible wedding outfit on Leah Chapman.
Thanks for stopping by!
I think we’re the last people on the planet to try pickle ball, so here goes! LOVE the Isla de Gar bags, so cute. And your skin looks luminous Moll!
