what I packed for London and what the Brits are wearing + other tids and bits
also you don't need the Miu Miu sunglasses because these are better
Hiiii friends! I have been in London for 13 days now and I love it here. Getting 20k steps a day, fresh produce, flower markets, vintage shopping, the history, the buildings! Trains!! Biking!! It’s actually insanity the lack of public transportation within most of the US, there should also be accessible bike paths within every city, WHY! Don’t get me started on the healthcare…ANYWAYS the people can dress here. My eyes are bursting daily with the delightful people watching!!
Wearing: I had to pack very minimally so I have been wearing the same few pieces, my *best purchase ever* Uniqlo trench coat. My Colorful Standard white tee, COS jorts, Nike sneakers (so comfy), The Row kitten heels and a few other pieces that I’ve picked up while here.
I got my haircut at Larry King Salon in Notting Hill by Annie and it was amazing. I almost chopped my hair into a bob but then remembered all the times I have cut my hair short in the past and miss it long. Should I??! The never ending debate.

Brick Lane in London for vintage shopping is amazing, I picked up a few things from there and also stopped in Massimo Dutti, I love how they style pieces together on the hanger, very wise on their end as I end up bringing the whole look into the fitting room. They also have great and affordable jewelry right now.
I went into the Miu Miu store to try on the very popular oval sunglasses and to my gleeful discovery, I much prefer my Cherry LA sunglasses. They are a similar shape but I actually think the quality is much better. I really wanted the havana brown color but they were sold out and I ended up finding the black pair on Depop for much less. These from Saint Laurent are also very similar and coming in at $340.
I also had an alert on my phone for the Bottega sunglasses on the right and after months of searching, they finally popped up on Depop and I SNATCHED them up. These are my two favorite pairs right now but also eyeing those Saint Laurent’s and this Vehla pair (saw these on Chloe Bruderer, so good).
I saw this bag on strictly the good stuff and I am obsessed. I own another Clare V bag that I always get compliments on, they are such great quality pieces.
Leandra Medine posted about these cargo shorts from H&M and they are really good.
I am also still very tempted to pre order this St. Agni bag. I love it so much. Also, this one in chocolate is perfection for Fall/Winter along with this Dragon Diffusion one that has been on my wishlist forever. The marine color is amazing.
I have had my eye on these Adidas and have been seeing them everywhere in London. They are giving “chic but I am in a pub watching a footy match” and you could maybe dribble in them. Have also seen these Onitsuka Tiger pair, love the red. But the most worn here is definitely the Adidas Samba specifically in the all black with white stripes.
This Helsa bomber from The RealReal for $175 would be great for the Fall. Also, these Brock mesh heel boots for $175, fun! Size 9 for you lucky size 9’s. These St. Agni slides are very cool and cute (size 8), I want!!

Some screenshots from my phone this week:
I rarely love a wedding look as they all start to look the same but love the unique twist below. I also would wear this shawl in my every day life.
Can anyone tell me where these sunglasses are from on Steph Shep??
These Cordera silver shorts!!
An outfit I will be wearing with my dog this Winter.
Skin: I am a huge Make Beauty fan and I saw the founder, Carrie Barber, just posted this new product (clinical trials!!) and it looks amazing.
I have been using this Westman Atelier foundation stick and love it so much, it blends so well, looks super natural and you can easily build it up if needed.
I really want to try the Typology tinted serum, looks very nice to mix in with my foundation stick. Same with this Jouer Cosmetics lip enhancer in bare rose.
Also love this Ultra Violette sunscreen, I heard they will start selling in the US next year!
Hair: Everything Crown Affair per usual! Including their new finishing spray, it’s so light and lovely. Also, dying to try their texturing air dry mousse, it has been getting rave reviews. Their hair clips are my got to.
Home: Silver trays for everything. Supplements, advil, heating pad. Snacks.
Reading: I finished Dolly Alderton’s new book which I loved, laughed out loud and cried. Now I am making my way through Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe- it’s a deep dive into the history of the troubles in Northern Ireland, it’s intense, filled with history, dates and a ton of notable names that I am trying to keep together but it is an incredible book. A slower read but I am learning so much.
It’s interesting because I remember being taught about the potato famine when I was young when in reality it was the British starving the Irish?? If you want a mini history lesson, listen to Sinead O’Connor.
Art: I have talked about Shop Biddy on Etsy before but she has some of my favorite little art finds. I have a few from her, super affordable as well. She does drops and they go fast. Look how good!!
Listening: I have been listening to Casual by Chappell Roan and Nothing Matters by The Last Dinner Party on repeat. Entering September mood!! This is my August playlist.
Ingesting: I am getting ready to ingest this spice all Fall long. Vanilla, cinnamon, cardamon, sugar?? Imagine this on everything! In your matcha! You also could make your own minus the sugar. But for a wee treat, yes.
Pistachio milk in your matcha/tea/coffee instead of oat milk.
Okay, that’s it for today. Also, I am going to Copenhagen next weekend and I am SO EXCITED. Please send any and all recommendations.
Thanks for reading x
I think Steph is wearing the Bibi sunglasses from DMY Studios!
Bought the Zara shorts in black - love them! LOTS of good stuff in this issue! 🙌
