What's in my bag? + some Mango, H&M, Massimo Dutti favorites, what I've purchased recently, fun frames + table books
I love a good what's in my bag
If you remember me posting about my hunt for a new work/tote bag:
I ended up taking the plunge and got myself the mega sprout by Liffner in black. I went back and forth between colors for so long but decided black was classic.
It’s a beauty and I experienced Virgo peace and joy organizing it with all of my favorite things.
It is a heavier bag but as someone who carries a tonnn of stuff when I go into work or fly etc, I need this amount of space.
What’s inside you ask??
Mason Pearson brush dupe. I really lucked out and bought a Sonia Kashuk mini boar brush from Target years ago that they had to stop selling because it was too similar to the Mason Pearson. I bring this thing everywhere. Maybe one day I’ll splurge on the real deal.
Sunglasses. Right now I am wearing a Bottega pair that I found on Depop. They were a dream purchase that I got for a steal.
Sandy Liang pouch with headphones, epi-pen (yay), benadryl (yay), loose teas, essential oils and a tide pen.
Two books I am reading, Conversation on Love and The Wedding People. You are guaranteed to read more if you pack your book wherever you go! Waiting at the doctors, lunch break etc.
Violet Grey makeup bag with the essentials which for me must include the Fara Homidi lip liner in faun, merit lip oil in au natural, Ole Henriksen peptide lip treatment in cocoa cream, evanhealy lip balm (from Whole Foods or your local co-op, it’s theee best chapstick), aquaphor for everything, Olio e osso balm (works as eyeshadow, lip color, blush- my go to.
Liposomal Vitamin C + elderberry by Daily Radiance- I sweaaaaaaar by this stuff, I never get sick. Plus a spoonful of manuka raw honey a day.
Black tea by Rishi in case I need to get hyped.
Contax T2 film camera that I got from a Japanese seller. Takes beautiful images, film is just elite.
Not pictured is my laptop that I am currently looking for a new case for, thinking of this one by Rains. I fell in love with these Bembien ones- they are beauties but on the pricier side. Also my wallet that I am in the works of replacing.
Wearing: I absolutely loved and was inspired the Chloe show, it brought me back to the 2000’s- no smart phones, no social media- there were still trends but everyone had their own style. I also loved the hair.
Ssense is now selling one of my favorite brands I discovered in London, Hai! Love these pink shorts and this yellow tee. They have cute scrunchies too.
Very cute Cou Cou top that shows off the collar bone.
Sandy Liang is having their end of season sale, this white skirt is very chic. I’d pair it with this black cardigan.
I find so many unique items on Garmentory, these little wallet/card holders by Intentionally Blank for $36 are so cute. I love the butter color.
Now let’s get into some Spring shopping, I have ordered a few things here and there. Like these Mango jeans (YES I’m still angrily looking for the perfect pair of jeans). The zebra bag is as close as I am getting to Carrie’s Fendi coat.

A few other things, I’ve been eyeing. I bought these Bonnie Clyde sunglasses and going to add my prescription lens in and tint them a bit.

I’m obsessed with these Massimo Dutti plaid tops above (1 + 2), I’ve been on the lookout for a perfect one and I think one of these are it unless I can find something similar secondhand.
Rejina Pyo is having a really good sale, the two bags above are perfection. Also the little white bag she is carrying in #8, I LOVE. It’s the Dilon bag and it’s sold out, sob.
Also, per the above patent white leather bag for $12- did you know that H&M has an entire section on their website of pre-loved items? There is Chanel, Toteme, Prada, Gucci, Acne etc and at great prices! I knew this existed in some of their stores (I scored a great pair of vintage Levi’s at one) but I had no idea it was online as well!

Ordered these Reifler jeans from Mother denim because I have heard good things- WE’LL SEE.
These shoes would be so fun to wear, I would last maybe 20 minutes in them before my back and feet started to agonizingly ache but I would strut!!
Saw these pants on Yan Yan Chan and I looove.

Love loooove the color of this Fane bag. Similar color vibe is this very good sweater by Staud (look like the Jenni Kayne one I posted about last week).
This Hermes beret is chic.
Some jewels I have been eyeing. I am always keeping my eyes peels for cool and interesting chains to add to my collection to mix and match with other pieces. This one by Brennan Studios via Garmentory caught my eye and it’s only $72.
How cool are these earrings when they catch the light? I am thinking Summer sunset, little dress and a glass of vino. They’re $85.
Little heart necklace for $28.
These little anklets, can you tell I am itching for Summer?
Cute topaz earrings by Ragbag for $178.
If you have an extra $780 to spare - this choker is incredible.
Home: This shop called Cabin Fever on Etsy has the cutest photo booth strip frames.
I am having an animal print moment (as seen here) and these pillows via Etsy would be a fun touch!
Love the colors in this piece and the fun frame, adding color to your home!

Look at all their funky frames!
Three cool art table books from OK the Store. Love the idea of this cuisine on screen from 30 cult Japanese movies.
James Baldwin- This Morning, This Evening, So Soon. Beautiful imagery.
Patti x Robert. If you have read one of my favorite books of all time, Just Kids. You get it.
A fun watch via Vogue.
And I will leave you with this beautiful art by Imdad Barbhuyan.
Thanks for reading!

Lots of MNZ RealReal & Depop finds, being a Katie Jane Hughes fan girl, a search for a jacket Carrie wore on Sex & the City + leopard couches
We are slowly inching our way towards Spring and I cannot wait. I’m ready for Summer ok!! Dressing for cold is great except when it’s below 30 degrees then it’s just long johns and the warmest coat you own. I also get overwhelmed by textures sometimes (lol) so the feeling of an undershirt topped with wool and a bra and long underwear and thick socks, i…

Hi and happy FriYAY. The days all seem to blend together in January and I’d be alright fast forwarding to May. Let’s get into some things that are keeping me going!!
A hat a day keeps the shower away
Here is the thing, I need a new hat. And hats are great, especially when you have fine hair and for me, I feel like my hair is MEH unless it is freshly showered. So it’s either going up or it’s going in a hat.
